With the OnStar Guardian® app, family safety services such as Roadside Assistance, crash help, family location tracking, and Emergency Services are just a tap away. Regardless of your location, we're here for you and your family in any vehicle, including motorcycles. Eligible OnStar Members can access the OnStar Guardian app as part of their subscription, or opt for a standalone plan at just $15 a month. You can even share the app with up to seven friends or family members without any extra charges.

Emergency Services
• Instant help when you need it most. The red Emergency button connects you to an OnStar Emergency Advisor anytime, day or night.
• Get specialized assistance for medical emergencies, extreme weather conditions, and more, while our Advisors dispatch First Responders directly to your location.

Mobile Crash Response
• Automatic crash detection that alerts help when needed.
• Your smartphone’s sensors can detect car accidents and notify an OnStar Advisor.
• Receive assistance during a crash in any vehicle or while riding your motorcycle.

Roadside Assistance
• Avoid being stranded. We offer help on the road for flat tires, dead batteries, and more — even fuel delivery or tow requests.
• Roadside support is available for both vehicles and motorcycles.

Location Status
• Stay connected even when apart. The family locator feature allows you to share and save real-time locations, track a live map, and send notifications for departures and arrivals.

This service is available only in the U.S. and Canada and on select Android devices. An OnStar Guardian service plan, cellular signal, GPS connectivity, and device data connection are required. Some crash data may not transmit. You can opt to cancel at any time by calling 1.888.4ONSTAR (1.888.466.7827).

Location Status features are designed for compatible smartphones with Location Services enabled. Functionality may vary based on device and plan. Data charges may apply. Terms and conditions apply.

Roadside services are provided by third parties and are limited to passenger vehicles (cars and trucks) and motorcycles. Restrictions apply, and towing services can be used four times a year with additional fees for extra use. Additional charges apply for tire changes if no spare tire is available.

Up to seven individuals can be added to the “My Family” area within the app.
